The "master" tarball contains the following files:

INSTALL.tarball
Installation instructions for users on extracting and setting up samba
for solaris 2.6 from the provided "installation" tarball
I'd expect this to be put at the same "level" in the directory as
	the installation tarball.

samba-2.0.0-sparc-sun-solaris2.6.sources.tar.gz
The (cleaned) source files for debug purposes

samba-2.0.0-sparc-sun-solaris2.6.tar.gz
The installation tarball, to be extracted from /

I was uncertain (and the documentation didn't seem to really indicate)
of the exact format of the tarball required, especially with regards
to the configured source code (post-cleaning, of course). It's thus
been split into the two chunks here. Your call on how to display it
on the Samba site.

I also took the liberty of including the docs directory in the installation
tarball (/usr/local/samba/docs). This was not mentioned in the package
instructions, but I saw it in the other distributions and decided to follow
suit.

The exact method for installing seemed fairly loose. I've made it so that
it un-tars the init.d script into /etc/init.d and makes links in rc0, rc2,
and rc3.d.

I also moved smb.conf to smb.conf.eg in the tarball.

If any of this is wrong, please contact me and let me know how it should
be re-done. I hope I haven't taken too many liberties with the process.

I did test it on my system (SunOS gaff 5.6 Generic_105181-11 sun4m sparc
SUNW,SPARCstation-5) and it works fine. I used the Sun binutils (as
recommended by gcc) and compiled with egcs 2.9.1. No configure options
were used.

Again, let me reiterate that if anything should be changed/improved, just
let me know. I'd like it to be right.
