2. Starting KOrganizer

KOrganizer can be started from the command line or from the KDE start menu. If you do choose to start from the command line, KOrganizer honors the usual X Windows program flags such as -geometry. You can also supply the path to a calendar optionally at the end, and then this calendar will be loaded automatically. If no calendar is specified, KOrganizer automatically remembers the last calendar that you had open and re-opens it at startup. If you explicitly closed the calendar before you last exited KOrganizer, a new (empty) calendar will be created when the program starts up.
